"Let me start by saying WOW. What a horse he is. He is wonderful. I did a little team sorting on him as a 3 year old and he did great. I have not done much with him lately because I was busy having children....he sat out in my pasture for 9 months and when I got him out he went around the arena like he never missed a day...just a little fatter. LOL Anyhow, he is now being ridden by my four year old son and I have him going again. ...Next year I might be looking for a young horse to show halter...I am so happy with Cash that I am going to look at your ranch first."

We are thrilled that both have tested negative for EHV-1. We would like to reassure our friends and boarders that Fairlea Ranch is taking all practical measures to keep all horses safe.
Purely as a precautionary measure, as advised by veterinary experts, both ranches are closed to outside horses and events at this time. Please take reasonable precautions with your own horses. Our thoughts are with all equestrians during this difficult time.

She has filled out nicely and stands about 14.1 HH and is chestnut in color. I have never been on a horse that is as soft in the bridle and poll. "She was good in the reining and real good in the cow. We had a little trouble circling one way. The cow didn't want to turn and she muscled him around. I was pretty happy with her," Norcutt said.
Fairlea Steady Betty is owned by Therese and Basil Kehoe, who collected $1,680. They also received a CR Morrison trophy and a CR Morrison commemorative medallion.
Norcutt has been riding Fairlea Steady Betty, by Smart Steady Date out of Fairleas Qwik Pic, for two years, and says her consistency is what he most appreciates about her. "She's always the same. She's pretty funny to warm up. She never feels good or does anything right, but when it's time to show, she gives me everything she's capable of and is nice and solid," he said.
Along with thanking the Kehoes for letting him train their horses, Norcutt noted his appreciation of 2009 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion Zane Davis. "I've learned a lot of good stuff from Zane in the last few months. He stops in and gives me some good pointers and little things to improve on," he said.
