Fairlea Ranch – broodmares
Fairlea Ranch Quarter Horses are bred to perform in all major performance disciplines – cutting, cow horse, reining, roping and barrels. All Fairlea Ranch horses are registered American Quarter Horses, primarily sired by their two studs: Silver Gun (Playgun x Miss Freckles Reed) and Smart Steady Date (Smart Little Lena x Doc’s Steady Date). Many of their broodmare’s pedigrees go back to Fairlea Ranch’s first stud: Colonel Pic (Colonel Freckles x Picinic). These proven bloodlines produced the trademark Fairlea Ranch performers – well rounded, athletic, good minded, do everything champions.
The Fairlea Brand recognized everywhere as a mark of a superior horse – in whatever discipline it performs. Over the years Fairlea Ranch has consistently been ranked by Equistat as top owners and breeders in Cutting and Reined Cow Horse. Fairlea Ranch is a member of the AQHA Breeders Association and has been an AQHA Life member since 1988.
